Manche sagen, Augen sind der Spiegel der Seele. Andere sagen, sie sind das Fenster zur Seele. Ersteres ist Narzissmus, zweiteres ist Hybris. Und die Kombination von Spiegel und Fenster klingt nach Peep-Show. Für Seelen gilt wohl das gleiche wie für Darkrooms: es geht ums Berühren, nicht ums Sehen.
Some say eyes are mirrors of the soul, some say they are windows to the soul. The former is narcissism, the latter is hubris. And the combination of window and mirror makes for a creepy voyeur. It seems, finding does become soul-searching.
